IVE has claimed the top spot in the December 2025 Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings, followed by BLACKPINK in second place and LE SSERAFIM in third, according to new data released by the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute.


The rankings are based on an analysis of 52.66 million pieces of big data collected between November 14 and December 14, 2025. The data measured online consumer behavior related to girl groups, including participation, media exposure, communication, and community engagement. Compared to November, overall data volume declined by 4.86%.


The Girl Group Brand Reputation Index evaluates public perception through positive and negative sentiment, media interest, and consumer interaction across online platforms, including social media, news coverage, and community channels.





Top 30 Girl Groups for December 2025


The top 30 rankings for December are: IVE, BLACKPINK, LE SSERAFIM, TWICE, Red Velvet, MAMAMOO, ILLIT, Oh My Girl, BABYMONSTER, KiiiKiii, aespa, (G)I-DLE, ITZY, H1-KEY, Hearts2Hearts, fromis_9, KISS OF LIFE, WJSN, Apink, NMIXX, FIFTY FIFTY, tripleS, Girl’s Day, MEOVV, IZNA, STAYC, KATSEYE, BLACKSWAN, XG, and Kep1er.


IVE Leads with Strong Growth


IVE (Ahn Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, Leeseo) recorded a brand reputation index of 5,579,470, marking a 13.64% increase from November. The group showed strong performance across all categories, particularly in communication and community engagement.


BLACKPINK and LE SSERAFIM Follow


BLACKPINK (Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, Lisa) placed second with a brand reputation index of 5,299,273, despite a 26.53% decrease compared to the previous month. The group continued to demonstrate strong community influence, reflecting its global fanbase.


LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, Hong Eunchae) ranked third with a score of 3,130,161, representing a slight 3.58% decline month-over-month.


TWICE and Red Velvet Round Out the Top Five


TWICE ranked fourth with 3,126,926, while Red Velvet followed closely in fifth place with 2,734,454. Both groups experienced moderate declines compared to November but maintained strong media presence and fan engagement.




Industry Insights


Koo Chang-hwan, director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, noted that overall engagement across the girl group category declined in December. Brand consumption fell by 15.52%, brand-related issues by 6.01%, communication by 3.38%, and brand diffusion by 4.50%.


In IVE’s case, keyword analysis highlighted terms such as “prove,” “thank,” and “advertise,” while popular keywords included “Rebel Heart,” “Jang Wonyoung,” and “Song of the Year.” The group recorded a notably high positive sentiment ratio of 93.59%.


The December analysis covered more than 60 girl groups, reflecting the continued competitiveness and global reach of the K-pop girl group landscape.
