Jennie Captivates Coachella: Roars and Sing-Alongs Fill the Air

BLACKPINK’s Jennie set Coachella ablaze, proving her prowess as a solo artist on one of the world’s biggest stages.

On April 13 (local time), Jennie took the stage solo at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the largest music festival in the U.S., leaving an unforgettable impression with her commanding presence and performance power.

Jennie made history as the first K-pop solo artist to perform on Coachella’s major Outdoor Theatre stage. Bursting with energy, she instantly captivated the audience with her high-quality live vocals and overwhelming stage presence.

Opening with "Filter," Jennie powered through a 50-minute set, performing 13 songs non-stop, including “Mantra,” “Zen,” “Love Hangover,” “Seoul City,” and “Like Jennie.” The crowd responded with deafening cheers, chanting her name, singing along, and dancing throughout the performance.

A surprise appearance by Kali Uchis, who featured on “Damn Right,” added excitement to the show. When Jennie launched into her chart-topping title track “Like Jennie,” the audience erupted into cheers and a mass sing-along filled the venue.

Major international media outlets, including Rolling Stone and the Los Angeles Times, highlighted Jennie’s Coachella stage. They praised her performance, stating, “Jennie heated up the Outdoor Theatre with her fiery set,” and “She proved she can do it all as a solo artist.”

Coachella, known for its prestige and history, began in 1999 and takes place over two weekends in Indio, California, drawing more than 200,000 attendees annually, making it the largest music festival in the U.S.

After a hugely successful solo debut at Coachella, Jennie is set to return to the Outdoor Theatre stage for another performance on April 20.
